Delete your account

Open HushedEchoes and go to Me → Your data → Delete account. Type DELETEto confirm. That’s it — the deletion runs immediately, while you watch.

• Your account and sign-in — you can no longer log in.
• Every echo: voice recordings, transcripts, moods and day summaries.
• Your tasks and reminders.
• Your chat and DM messages, including voice messages.
• Every public share link you created, together with its audio and share-card files.
• Your circle (Umbrella) memberships and game history.
• Every copy on the device you deleted from — the app returns to a fresh install.

Circles you own are handed to their longest-standing member so the people you shared with don’t lose their space; a circle with no other members is deleted with you. Messages other people wrote stay theirs.

Deletion is immediate on our live systems. Encrypted platform backups age out on a rolling schedule and are gone within 35 days. This cannot be undone — there is no grace period and no recovery.

Email hello@hushedechoes.com from the Google account email you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my HushedEchoes account”. We confirm within 72 hours and complete the same full deletion within 7 days. (We can only verify requests from the sign-in email — anonymous, never-signed-in sessions can only be deleted from inside the app.)

What we collect and why is covered in the app privacy policy. You can also export everything first from Me → Your data → Export my logs — deletion doesn’t wait for exports, so download before you delete.
